Welcome DáilDex to Telegram.
Alerts about your TDs, answers from the official record and your settings, all in one chat.
One product
Alerts and Dex were two things. Now they're one conversation.
Until now, DáilDex alerts arrived by email and Dex lived on the website. On Telegram they're the same thread: the alert is the start of the conversation, and Dex is right there when you want to know more.

I can switch your alerts to votes only. That applies to your email alerts too.
Reply to ask
Reply to any update with "why?" and Dex explains that exact vote or debate from the official record, with sources. Or ask anything about Irish politics.
Change things by saying so
"Only votes." "Follow Holly Cairns." "Pause until Monday." Dex suggests the change and you confirm it with one tap.

Good to know
- Telegram messages are processed by DáilDex and Telegram, and Dex's answers are written by an AI model through OpenRouter. Bot chats are not end-to-end encrypted, so don't send anything private.
- Which TDs you follow and which kinds of alert you get are shared with your email alerts. Turning on Telegram doesn't change your email.
- Each question uses one of your daily Dex messages, the same as on the website. Commands like /settings and /stop don't.
- Recent messages in the chat are kept for 30 days so Dex can follow the conversation, then deleted. Deleting your account removes the link and the chat history.
- Dex sticks to Irish politics and public life, uses the official record and doesn't take sides.
