Plain-language privacy

We use only what the service needs.

No passwords and no public profile. Your confirmed email address is the centre of your DáilDex subscription.

What we store

Your email address, confirmation status, followed TDs and Senators, topics, alert level and email delivery history.

How you manage it

Every email includes private manage and unsubscribe links. They replace a password for the core service.

Why replies are kept

When you reply to an alert, the message and sourced answer are stored so the email thread can continue.

We do not sell your address

DáilDex uses your email to confirm the subscription, deliver alerts, process replies and provide preference controls. It is not sold or used for political advertising.

Delivery providers process email

Email delivery requires a specialist provider. Delivery status, bounces and complaints are recorded so the service can stop sending to invalid or unwilling recipients.

You can leave at any time

The unsubscribe link stops future alerts. Reply to any email or use the manage link to request full data deletion.

Sources are public

Political activity shown by DáilDex is based on official public records and linked sources. Subscriber email addresses and replies are not public.

Dex chat data

Dex stores your first name, email address, a hashed private pass and a daily message count on our server. Conversation messages and titles stay in IndexedDB in your browser. The profile panel can delete both. Search queries and chat content are sent to the selected AI provider when you ask a question.
