Dex Study · Revise

Revision cards that come back when you need them.

Cards are scheduled with FSRS, a modern spaced-repetition algorithm, so a little practice each day builds a stronger memory than a night of rereading.

Updated 9 October 2026

Where the cards come from

  • Generated from the sources in your space, each with a quote from the passage.
  • Added automatically when you mark a practice answer as needing work.

How reviews are scheduled

After each card you rate how well you remembered it. FSRS uses that rating, the card's difficulty and the time since you last saw it to decide when it should reappear. Easy cards wait longer; hard ones come back sooner.

The Today screen counts the cards due across your spaces. Suspended cards and new cards beyond the daily cap are left out, so the number reflects what is genuinely due.

Make the most of it

  1. Read firstWork through the guide or your notes before you make cards. Cards test memory; they do not teach a topic.
  2. Review a little dailyA short session each day beats a long one before the exam.
  3. Be honest with ratingsRating a card easy when you guessed makes it come back too late.

We noticed you're visiting from outside Ireland. A TD (Teachta Dála) is a member of Ireland's lower house of parliament—the closest equivalent to an MP. A Senator sits in Seanad Éireann, the upper house. You can still use DáilDex to follow either and receive the same alerts. Shareable explainer
